I have been getting hot dogs and burgers from here for years. Great place to stop for a quick meal to go. Prices are reasonable and so is the food. Friendly staff too.

A chili dog is such a simple thing to taste so marvelous. The sign says they're made 9 million of them since 1962. End to end that's 800 miles of awesomeness. Fresh steamed bun lays host to a better than average weenie, mustard, catsup, chili and onions. There's nothing pedigreed here. The bun is fresh and soft but has humble origins. The chili is better Thursday than it is on Monday. It's never been to Texas. Most likely the product of a pack of chili-o, a can of tomatoes and about twice the meat the recipe called for. By itself each part is nothing special. Combine all the ingredients, add a winning smile and a pleasing disposition and it's the stuff of legends. The place is clean. The prices fair. Other laces call this a Carolina dawg. I just call it delicious. Never monkey around with the formula.
Best slaw dogs I have found anywhere! I live in Abingdon Va., I go there twice a week and get my slaw dogs, and a good ole hamburger sometimes too! The people who work there are freaking awesome, always nice and friendly, I like that! The price of their food is the lowest I've found! It's hard to find the, "Maw and Paw" restaurants anymore!
